We are expecting an expanding number of U9 cricketers for the forthcoming 2021 season. The junior subscriptions primarily cover the 12 evening coaching sessions but there may be opportunities to play in matches arranged for the U9 team. The team will play friendly matches on a Sunday morning. We will have 3, six a side teams into the A league.

All EMWCC junior cricket matches are run under the umbrella of the Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket Association (www.wwjc.co.uk). The matches normally start at 9.30 am, but please check each fixture on the website before travelling.

Home matches are played at Easton on an artificial wicket.

The format is Pairs Cricket with six players per side. The matches normally last two hours or thereabouts. Click on 'Fixtures & Results' for the list of planned matches.

For Friday evening training we will have a qualified UKCC2 coach in attendance. However, we are expecting numbers to be up on last year and would be keen to hear from any parents who would like to help under the guidance of the coaches.

Any parents interested in helping to run a team on a Sunday morning should also let us know. We may be able to organise matches for the younger children in the U9 age group if we can recruit parents to run a third team.
